***Update: Looks like our ritual will be inside Fellowship Hall, but the space will not have climate control. For winter rituals, please dress in layers for warmth. Summer rituals may require dressing in layers to be cool, or may meet in Building 5. We expect climate control in Fellowship Hall to be fixed, sometime later in 2025. Please join us Saturday, Feb. 1, 2024, at 7 pm. at First Unitarian Church, in Building 5.
WHAT IS...Imbolc? Also called Candlemas, it symbolizes the halfway point between the winter solstice (Yule) and the spring equinox (Ostara). It is a time of purification and sweeping away of the old in preparation for the coming year. Many of the celebrations and practices at this time of the year are linked to the goddess and saint Brigid.
Please bring a contribution for the food bank.
