Imbolc Shamanic Breathwork Session: Time to Stoke the Inner Fires & Sweep the Winter Away.
About this Event

Time to Stoke the Inner Fires.

We're not quite there yet, but soon the Wheel of the Year turns to Imbolc, the Celtic festival of purification.

Imbolc is popularly celebrated on 2 February as the midpoint between Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox (astronomically it occurs on 6th or 7th February at 15 degrees Aquarius). It is one of the eight points on the Celtic Wheel of the year and was traditionally celebrated as a festival of fire and light.

Imbolc is thought to derive from the word 'oimelc' which may mean 'ewe's milk' or 'in the belly' and have associations with the pregnant sheep just before lambing.

What embers are stirring in your belly waiting to be fanned by the pure breath of Spring. What is ready to be born in you?

The secret alchemy of Imbolc has to do with raising kundalini and the fertile power of the young feminine- a quality we all carry inside us as divine spark no matter what age.

The goddess is manifesting her maiden aspect as the earth begins to stir, the embers are rekindled and all of life is awakening. It is a time when after the darkness and incubation of winter the potent power of renewal and regeneration rises and comes to consciousness.

Imbolc is the perfect time to release the stale energy accumulated over the dark winter period... time for a spring clean and to initiate the free-flowing breath of new beginnings.

It is also a time to initiate the fiery sparks of creativity waiting to arise.

We will honour this time with shamanic journeying and breathwork - no prior experience of either is required.

Limited Spaces available.

Investment: £20 fully waged, £15 lower income, £10 unwaged.
