Come and Join Covenstead's Imbolc 2022.

The days are becoming longer again, and we can finally open up our homes to clear out the winter blues that have been lingering within. This time of new beginnings presents a wonderful opportunity to cleanse and purify us and our homes of that stagnant energy we’ve been building up in hibernation.

Imbolc is a time of celebration and ritual, often honoring Brighid, the goddess of the hearth. This is also a time of new beginnings and of purification.

Bring a Imbolc Snack, Appetizer, Dessert for the Imbolc Feast. Seating is limited. Bring a chair or sit upon. Wines and Spirits are allowed. Traditionally, Imbolc is a festival of milk and fire. So, naturally, any dairy products or foods made with dairy are traditional Imbolc foods. Including milk, butter, cream, nuts, cheese. In addition, blackberries, bread and corn are traditional offerings for Saint Brigid and Brigid the Goddess.
