1020 Thiko and Cartel Events brings you the first of what is to be an annual Imbizo, a music concert with surprise live performances conveying African culture and makes its debut at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena for one night only on Saturday, 01 October 2022.The Imbizo show will showcase some of the best afro-pop and hip-hop artists with an African sound and will fire up the stage with their greatest hits as they welcome uMfumfo (October) with joy.
Catch performances by the award-winning rappers, Sjava and Big Zulu; the Afro-pop duo, Blaq Diamond; ‘amablesser’ hit-maker, Mlindo the vocalist; musicians, Mnqobi Yazo; Mzukulu; Anzo; and acclaimed poet, Nue_Zam.
