About this Event
Are you a Christian who wants...
- To put faith and political action together, but doesn't know where to begin?
- To meet other Christians in a safe and inclusive space to discuss these issues?
- To understand Christian nationalism and be offered an alternative in Christian pluralism?
- To start countering the polarization that we see in this election cycle and dominates our politics?
Join other Christians from Orange and LA Counties who genuinely desire to explore faith and politics during this election cycle. You'll learn about Christian nationalism, be offered a vision of Christian pluralism, and discuss ballot issues related to climate change, the economy, reproductive rights, and immigration in small groups. Imagining Christian Pluralism: Faith and Voting the Common Good will feature Vote Common Good, an organization that "is inspiring, energizing, and mobilizing people of faith to make the common good their voting criteria" and led by Doug Pagitt. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is free, but donations for Vote Common Good will be welcome at the event.
