About this Event
Mapped to ISCP General Surgery syllabus for the completion of Core Training in General Surgery and delivered by experienced faculty comprising of Consultant radiologists and senior trainees.
By the end of this course you will be more confident in using CT to diagnose the following:
Acute Abdomen - Cholecystitis, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, visceral perforation.
Obstruction - Small and large bowel, obstructed hernias, adhesions, colorectal carcinoma.
Vascular - Abdominal aortic aneurysm and acute arterial insufficiency (mesenteric + limb).
Urology & Post operative changes - Ureteric colic, pyelonephritis, anastomotic leak, post op collection.
Trauma - Abdominal and thoracic trauma .
