Let the summer begin!! We’re kicking off our backyard season with ilyAIMY, an outrageously fun band from Baltimore, AND Dan Pelletier, a local powerhouse troubadour, starting things off! We’ve been listening to both groups (videos below) and they keep on getting better - we feel awfully lucky to have them in our backyard. So come on over, hang out and enjoy the music! We’ll provide some appetizers and drinks… if you can bring something, great, but otherwise just bring your awesome selves.

About ilyAIMY
Bait shops, biker weeks, folk fests and clothing-optional resorts - Baltimore’s ilyAIMY (i love you And I Miss You) has played it ALL nationwide for more than two decades. Similarly adventurous songwriters, audiences should expect everything from barbershop to beatboxing, innovative acoustic guitar, and rapid-fire lyricism softened by cello and lush harmonies. With honors from Kerrville NewFolk, Telluride Bluegrass, FreshGrass, Falcon Ridge Folk, NERFA, SERFA and the Washington Area Music Association, ilyAIMY is an award-winning “welcome jolt in folk.”
Their energetic brand of new-folk has garnered honors from the Bernard/Ebb Songwriter Awards, Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, Kerrville Folk Festival, the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Washington Area Music Awards, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, National Association for Campus Activities, the Northeast & Southeast Regional Folk Alliances, and more.
"ilyAIMY ain't your grandpa's folk music… fearless writers & performers… Voices this rich & emotionally hard-hitting - equal parts velvet darkness, barely contained heartbreak, & hard-won, unstoppable joy - don't come around often.” – Pat Wictor
“ilyAIMY are insanely good… it’s the sound of someone about to break down in tears or start a fight. Everything emo wishes it could be [but] far more powerful, unsettling, emotional and brilliant”
About Dan Pelletier
Sit for an hour with Dan Pelletier and you’ll walk away chuckling, shaking your head, wanting a long, cool drink and the red, tender lips of someone to love. He will show you himself, yourself, your lover, your family and friends and quite a few characters you may not know, but will instantly recognize. They jump out of his songs full of beauty and blemishes, brilliance and foolishness, insanity, humor, intensity and tenderness.
Pelletier’s passionate performance of these songs make him a formidable force on the national folk scene. He has twice been a SERFA Main Stage Showcase Performer (2017, 2000), has won the 2015 Towne Crier Open Mike Invitational First Prize, was a 2014 Rocky Mt. Folks Fest Songwriters Showcase Artist in 2013 & 14, was a Cape May Singer Songwriter Showcase Artist, a 2003 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Showcase Artist, and many more. Pelletier's brilliant "The Baddest of All" won the USA Songwriting Competition's first prize for lyrics, out of more than 30,000 entries.
“An attractive and refreshingly original performer with an entertaining and quirky sense of humor. Booked him at first sight!”
Rod Kennedy, Kerrville Folk Festival
“Pelletier’s Passion will leave you breathless!”
