Illustration & Lettering Demonstration with Zebra Creative Pens

IN-STORE DEMONSTRATION:

Join us at Plaza Art – Kenwood and learn some creative tips and tricks from professional lettering atist, Amy Owens! Amy will demonstrate illustration and hand lettering techniques to help inspire you and hone your craft. Using the popular Zebra Mildliner Highlighters and Brush pens, ClickArt Markers, and Sarasa Click pens, Amy will show us how to embellish our bullet journals, elevate our note taking pages, and jazz up our correspondence stationery with Zebra pens! Come in and try the pens for yourself; feel free to bring your own journal if you want to test them out on your favorite paper. Amy will also have sheets of Strathmore 400 Series Marker Paper available to sample with the pens.

ABOUT AMY:

Amy Owens attended architecture school at Ball State University and has practiced architecture in Georgia, Indiana and Ohio. She has also worked in the graphic arts field, owning her own design studio creating wedding and event stationery. Presently she teaches architecture, design, calligraphy, and cursive to students at Leaves of Learning in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a certified instructor of the American Cursive Handwriting System created by Master Penman Michael Sull. She is a board member of the International Association for Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) and the Greater Cincinnati Calligrapher’s Guild. When not teaching or practicing calligraphy, you can find her hiking and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and four sons and making epic birthday cakes for family and friends.
