Illusion Of Life | A Beginner's Stop Motion Animation Workshop
About this Event
Ever wondered how your favourite stop motion films are made?
Illusion of Life is a fun, relaxed workshop where you'll discover the magic of bringing everyday objects to life through animation. Whether you've never animated before or you're looking for a new creative hobby, this session is designed for complete beginners.
Many of us stop making things as adults because we think we're "not creative enough." This workshop is about letting go of that idea. Stop motion is playful, surprisingly accessible and a wonderful reminder that creativity isn't about being perfect, it's about experimenting, laughing and seeing where your imagination takes you.
Together we'll explore the fundamentals of stop motion storytelling before creating your own short animated film using LEGO, paper, clay, drawings and everyday objects. We'll use an easy-to-learn mobile app, so no specialist equipment or experience is needed.
There's no pressure to make something perfect, just come along, meet like-minded people, have a laugh and discover the joy of animation.
