Illuminated Letters: Gilding Workshop with Jessica Yee

In this workshop participants will learn about the different materials and tools used to apply metal leaf on a variety of substrates. Practical application of gold leaf on heavy watercolor paper will include multilevel gilding and embossing/tooling of the metal leaf while creating a modern illuminated letter. Materials provided. Limited to 20 participants. Free. The workshop will be followed by an artist talk and demonstration that is also free and open to the public.
