Take a closer look at our copy of the Book of Kells and gain some insight into the incredible feat of skill, craft, and sheer devotion that preserved for hundreds of years the otherwise hidden stories and lost voices of the past.We are honored to have Mallory Melton return to share her expertise in illuminated manuscripts.
This is a free, fascinating talk about manuscripts, why they are so much cooler than you thought, and why they are so vitally important to the human experience. Feel free to bring your lunch, we will have coffee and tea brewing!
