Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal - OPEN TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN
While the state only requires a 3.5-hour class for Concealed Carry renewal, we strongly encourage renewal students to take advantage of Day 2 of the full Concealed Carry course—especially if you haven’t been getting regular range time. This additional training goes well beyond the minimum requirements, reinforcing critical skills, boosting confidence, and providing valuable instructor-led range practice.
You’ll sharpen your fundamentals, refresh your knowledge of the law, and ensure you’re truly prepared—not just certified. Plus, you’ll continue to learn, train, and enjoy the supportive camaraderie of the other ladies in the class, making the experience both empowering and rewarding.
COST: $75 (includes range time and qualification target)
DAY 2 of new program continued from April 11th:
A combination of classroom instruction and instructor-led range qualification, covering:
• The Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act
• Concealed carry methods and techniques
• Practical classroom drills
• Live-fire qualification at the range
• State and Federal firearms laws, including ownership, carrying, storage, and transport
• Legal use of force and self-defense laws
• Prohibited locations where concealed carry is not allowed
• Proper interaction with law enforcement while carrying or transporting a concealed firearm
Other Information:
Must have pistol and 50 - 100 rounds of ammunition for range.
Must supply your name exactly as shown on your existing CCL license or FOID card.
Bring safety glasses and hearing protection for the range
Fingerprinting: If you are interested in electronic fingerprints to speed up your application approval for $65, we will have a licensed Livescan vendor at our class to electronically to capture your fingerprints for your Illinois application.

For renewals, note that the training certificate does not expire. You may take the course now and when your CCL comes due for renewal (90 days in advance) you may apply using this certificate. They will also offer ALL IN pricing to submit your paperwork etc. for you for a $40 additional fee.
