Il Circolo: Cards, Bocce & Piadina
About this Event
In Italy, the best evenings never need a plan. They start in a piazza, a bar or a backyard: a deck of cards hits the table, someone pours the wine, the bocce come out, and suddenly it’s midnight and nobody wants to go home. That is the spirit of Italiana, and we’re bringing it to Toronto.
Join us on Friday, November 6, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening built around what Italians do best: gathering, playing, eating and laughing together.
What’s on the table
🎶 Italian music all night, from timeless classics to the songs you grew up singing along to.
🃏 Card games the Italian way. Take a seat at a table for a round of Scopa or Maraffa. Never played? No problem. Someone at the table will gladly teach you (and probably cheat a little in the process).
⚽ Calcio balilla (table football) for those who like their rivalries fast and loud.
🎯 Bocce, the classic game of precision, strategy and friendly trash talk.
🏆 Prizes for the winners, including culinary treats and more surprises throughout the evening.
Included with your $25 ticket:
- Freshly made piadina
- 🍷 Italian drinks: wine, Italian beers such as Peroni and Birra Ichnusa, plus a selection of soft drinks
