The IKEA Teacher Appreciation Event!

At IKEA Costa Mesa, we consider teachers part of the family. All teachers are invited to make it official - join IKEA FAMILY and visit our store Wednesday May 4th for an event, just for you!

The fun starts at 4:00pm with giveaways and dinner on us for the first 100 teachers to show their school ID/credentials and IKEA FAMILY card.

For the rest of the event, our store is your campus for prizes, workshops, giveaways, offers, and activities where you’ll learn the IKEA definition of homework: ways to improve your life at home and school.

4:00-6:00pm | Store Entrance: Check-in, swag bag pick up, Spin to Win!

4:00 - 8:00pm | Dinner on us! Your choice of our world famous meatballs, plant balls or salmon with a side salad and fountain beverage.

4:30 - 5:15pm | Workshop: Declutter your space and your mind!

5:25 - 5:55pm | Morning checklist...But first, COFFEE!

5:55 - 6:10pm | Recess! Mix and mingle with fellow teachers, while you enjoy complimentary pastries, tea, and coffee.

6:15 - 6:30pm | Spin out your inner artist

6:30pm - 7:00pm | Wrap up, raffle and enter your school for a chance to win a Teacher Lounge Refresh!

The Swedish word for teacher is lärare and thank you is tack. So we say, “Tack lärare!”
