Presentation
Grant Caley – NetApp
NetApp

NetApp helps security teams protect and govern data in a world shaped by tighter regulations, cloud adoption, and AI-driven risk. NetApp supports frameworks like DORA, NIS2, and EUCC by giving organisations visibility and control over sensitive data, how it’s classified, protected, retained, and recovered across on‑premises and cloud environments.
This foundation enables stronger incident response, clearer crisis communications, and better oversight of third‑party platforms, AI systems, and supply‑chain risk. As threats evolve, including “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks, NetApp is preparing customers for post‑quantum cryptography to ensure data remains secure not just today, but for decades to come, underpinning long‑term cyber resilience in an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Grant Caley is a Solutions Director and Field CTO at NetApp. He has spent over 25 years helping customers solve their data challenges from running mission critical applications, managing unstructured data sprawls and now to protecting that data from cyber attacks.
As customers move into an AI-powered future, much of Grant’s time is spent helping customers understand and solve key AI-factory and AI-production problems of Cyber Security, Data Lineage, data centre and cloud data fluidity, as well as optimising exponential AI delivery costs. In his spare time Grant hill walks in the Lakes, as well as playing with innovative new technologies..
