Welcome to Decades of Design: Annual Celebration! As the IIDA Oregon Chapter celebrates our 30 Year Anniversary we travel through time at our 2024 Annual Meeting to celebrate the evolution of design and the connected creativity that has shaped our chapter. From the bold and eclectic '90s, through the sleek and innovative 2000s, to the modern and sustainable 2010s, each era has left an incredible mark. Enjoy music, tasty bites, creatively crafted cocktails and the moments and memories as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to the future of belonging. What is the Annual Celebration?

The Annual Celebration serves as our annual meeting to come together and celebrate our Chapter’s recent accomplishments and introduce forthcoming initiatives as well as the incoming board of directors. Additionally, this year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of IIDA and the IIDA Oregon Chapter!

What is the format of the event?

This in-person event is being held at Skylab Architecture’s Studio. Skylab features a large outdoor patio and covered spaces that we will be utilizing for the event. You'll find a selection of light bites and drinks, special frozen treats, games, and other activities. A portion of the event will include a presentation from our outgoing President, Emily Wright, and words from our incoming President, Peter Harrison.

What should I wear?

Decades of Design is a casual yet stylish affair, perfect for showcasing your favorite fashion trends from the past. Whether you’re a fan of the roaring '20s, the groovy '70s, or the bold '90s, we encourage you to dress in attire that represents your favorite decade!

Much of the outdoor space at the venue is gravel and may be uneven. We recommend taking this into consideration when selecting your footwear for the evening.
