About this Event

Join us for hands-on fun with Robotics and STEM, June 8 - 11, each day from 9:30 - 3:00.

IHMC’s 2026 Summer Robotics Camp offers students the opportunity to learn about robotics and computer programming. This camp is for students currently in 6th and 7th grade (going into 7th and 8th grade in the fall). Camp activities will feature coding and robotic challenges with LEGO Mindstorms. Students will improve their teamwork skills, confidence in problem solving, and STEM creativity. They will hear several short presentations about state-of-the-art research at IHMC, and they will have lunch with an IHMC research scientist in small groups. They will also be invited to tour IHMC's world-renowned robotics lab.

No prior experience with programming or robotics is required - each student will work at their own pace.

The camp fee is $245. Camp fees may be paid by credit card or by check. Reservations are not complete until payment is received and the student's acceptance is confirmed. Full financial assistance will be available for a number of qualified candidates, based on documentable financial need, for instance Medicaid or SNAP availability.

Campers can bring their own lunch, or they can add the optional camp-lunch for an additional $45. For those receiving financial assistance, lunch will be included at no cost.

Camp will take place June 8-11, 9:30 am to 3 pm at IHMC in downtown Pensacola. This is a STEM camp - join us if you're interested in STEM or curious whether robots and coding would be fun for you.
