IHM Christ on the Corner

Immaculate Heart of Mary will hold its 6th annual Parish Day of Service known as Christ on the Corner (COTC) on May 17, 2025 beginning with breakfast from 7:30-8:15 AM and wrapping up by 3 PM. This is an opportunity to volunteer with others in our parish to help people and non-profit organizations in our community. Please sign up to help

Projects available for children 5+ with partial day option…bring the whole family!

We will meet at the IHM Community Center (gym) at 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls for a continental breakfast. From there, volunteers will be sent to volunteer sites with boxed lunches.

We will work on over a dozen different projects. These project sites varied from working on Habitat for Humanity, Veteran Homes, Gennesaret Food Pantry and many more. This year we will continue to include many of the same sites and also have activities for small children with their parent/s.

The projects require a wide range of skills, including washing windows, doing yard work, light carpentry and painting. We also need volunteers as support staff (i.e. registration table, photographer, making and serving food, and packing lunches). We need you no matter what skills and ability you have! If you can't volunteer the whole time, that is fine. Do what you can!

You are free to bring your own tools. Work gloves are recommended. Tools will be provided at the work site as applicable.

This is a day to help our neighbor, share our God given gifts and enjoy the fellowship with each other.
