Ignite Social: September - Playable Worlds
About this Event
- What: Friendly get together, with bar and talks from interesting creative speakers
- Where: Patch Places, 5 - 6, Gray's Yard, Springfield Rd, Chelmsford CM2 6QR
- When: 7-10pm, every 2nd Thursday of the month
- Who: No prior knowledge of the topics is needed, and everyone is welcome!
Topic:
At September's social, we'll be exploring playable worlds in video games with the following guests;
Mark Backler - Mark is a games designer and industry veteran with over 15 years of experience at major studios like EA, Lionhead and Sony. He has worked on a variety of games, including the BAFTA award winning Fable 2. He is the founder and creative director of Sketchbook Games, who released the multi-award winning atmospheric puzzle game, Lost Worlds.
Mark also co-founded Game Anglia, a conference that brings together game developers in the East of England to build a better game development community.
