- What: Friendly get together, with bar and talks from interesting creative speakers

- Who: No prior knowledge of the topics is needed, and everyone is welcome!

At August's social, we'll be jumping into the intense world of filmmaking with the following guests;
Chris Phillips - Chris Phillips is a Braintree, Essex-born video creator currently living in Boise Idaho USA. He makes fun and eye catching videos for clients big and small. He's worked for tv broadcasters, record labels, musicians and live events as well as making lots of adverts and promo documentaries for various businesses. In his spare time, he relaxes by making even more videos which might be a problem but it's too late to change.
Jake Ringsell - Jake Ringsell is a British writer-director whose work blends visceral imagery with emotionally honest storytelling. Equally at home in award-winning narrative film and the alt-music space, his films often explore the fears that shape us, from the quiet inevitability of loss in The Rally to the nightmarish unraveling of identity in REDRUM. Drawing from a background in heavy music, Ringsell brings a distinct cinematic energy to his work, always in the service of stories that feel human, raw and true.
