Ignite Partner Ethan Stewart, our regular host is looking forward to introducing Julia Payne and Marc De'ath, the co-founders of Made In Essex, as the first of our evenings guest speakers.
Made in Essex a new network bringing together creative communities — like Ignite Chelmsford — across the county.
Join us to learn about Counting Culture, a sector-led statement to highlight and champion the value and impact of our creative industries and set priorities for future funding.

We shall also be joined by Rachel Dingle and Fern Potter from Southend Creatives, who will speak about how they operate as a voluntary group, their recent fundraising success, and their plans for sustaining the network going forward.
Southend Creatives is the network for Creatives and Creative businesses in Southend. Along with a website and creative directory, they host four in-person networking events a year in different cultural spaces.
'The Big Conversation' is their landmark yearly event where they invite creatives, politicians, and councillors into the same room to discuss creativity and culture in Southend.
