About this Event
The Ignite Bootcamp is a fire skills-based program for those eager to further their fire service understanding. By offering hands-on experiences with the fire service's tools, resources, and environments, the program aims to ignite minds to be inspired and empowered to further their interest in the industry.
In 2023 the Ignite Bootcamp program will host an adult women’s bootcamp session. For those who identify as female and are above the age of 18, this session will provide experiences aimed to further their understanding of fire service requirements.
Each day will consist of educational presentations and a rotation of stations that focus on key physical practices required of firefighters. Attendees are to come ready to perform intensely physical, teamwork-based exercises.
This two-day session will have 20-25 spots available for June 10th & 11, 2023.
Applications via the Eventbrite website will open April 1, 2023.
Applications will be reviewed during the month of May.
