IGHS provides travel scholarships annually to Indiana high school students participating in programs such as the I.U. Honors Program in Foreign Languages in Graz, Austria, a 5-weekimmersion and homestay experience, and the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), a 3-week exchange program.
In 2025 IGHS provided six scholarships to students from across the state to participate in the IU Honors Program in Graz. In addition to daily academic instruction, students participate in
cultural and community-based activities and enjoy excursions to destinations of historical significance.
Kate Rogers from Fishers High School will be presenting about her experiences in Austria and reflect on how the lessons learned abroad impacted her academic and personal goals.
Please join us in the Willkie Room at the Athenaeum on Wednesday, September 10 at 7:30 PM.
Parking available is either metered street parking or in the Block 20 parking garage off East Street south of Michigan Street.
