IGDAM November 2024 Meet-up

Supported by Fortress Melbourne, this is an over 18, ticketed event held in the Alienware Arena (upstairs).

The monthly meetups are a casual night for Melbourne’s game developer community to connect, learn from each other, and playtest games! Any level of experience is welcome: from indie first-timers to industry veterans.

• 6.30pm - Meetup starts (game showcasers please arrive at 6.20pm)
• 8.30pm - Event ends

SHOWCASING GAMES:

Huge thanks to those who have used the form to arrange this month's line-up!
Please bring the device you wish to play it on (eg. laptop, Switch) and set it up in the playtesting area - spots will be labelled with your game's name.

Fill out [ ] to submit your game in a future meetup. Those who require additional equipment must request min. 3 weeks before the event.

GETTING HERE:

Before 7:00pm, Entry will be via Fortress Melbourne Retail Store on Lower Ground of Emporium Melbourne. After 7:00pm, entry will open up via Fortress Melbourne's Laneway Entrance - Shop 25/23 Caledonian Lane.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with additional access via escalators.

YOUR TICKET PROVIDES:

• Entry to the event via Fortress
• 1 free drink token to redeem at the bar: Pot/pint of Fortress Lager, pot of Somersby Cider, house spirits, house wine, soft drink, or coffee/tea.

Please scan your Eventbrite ticket at entrance to receive your free drink token and check in to the event.

REDEEMING TICKET:

Please scan your Eventbrite QR code/proof of ticket purchase with the lovely Fortress staff, who will provide you your free drink token.

• Everyone must present a ticket, either pre-booked or booked on day
• Ticket changes for for this event must be requested 48 hours before the event.
• No outside food or drinks
• Fortress Melbourne is a licensed venue and as such ID is required and checked on entrance
• Unaccompanied minors are not permitted in the venue at any time. Please make sure any guests under 18 are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
• Minors are not allowed in the venue past 8:00pm
• Refunds will be honoured if notified prior to 6:30pm. Kindly note that refund requests made after 6:30pm on the day of your event are unable to be honoured.
