About this Event
The Iftar is the meal served at the end of the day during Ramadan, to break the day's fast. Iftar is served at sunset during each day of Ramadan, as Muslims break the daily fast.
The celebration is open to all students regardless of their religious or cultural background and we hope that all students who attend will gain an appreciation and understanding of this important event. We hope this will be an opportunity to educate students and create an inter-faith gathering with delicious food, friends, and conversation.
The Iftar is being hosted by the Dialogue Society who are a registered charity, with the aim of advancing social cohesion by connecting communities, empowering people to engage and contributing to the development of ideas on dialogue and community cohesion.
