iFLY invites the educators of Texas to learn about America's #1 STEM Field Trip!

Q) What type of field trips do you offer?

A) We always encourage students to participate in our traditional STEM Program (comprehensive learning, state standard-aligned), but if you are looking for something shorter with less math and science, we also have a STEM Lite option (relaxed learning) and a Flight-focused (no STEM) option available!

Q) What is iFLY?

A) iFLY Indoor skydiving is the simulation of true free-fall conditions in a vertical wind tunnel. It’s where the dream of flight becomes a reality.

Q) Do I have to fly at the open house?

A) No! While we encourage you to experience the dream of flight (balancing on a soft column of wind), you are not required to. Non-flyers are sure to be entertained by iFLY Instructors and their peers flying!

Q) Are there ID requirements?

A) Yes, academic professionals interested in a free flight must bring a school ID or business card proving they are part of an educational institution/organization.

Q) Are there any physical restrictions?

In order to provide a safe experience for flyers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and cannot accomadate flyers who weigh more than 300 lbs.

Q) What do I wear if I want to fly?

A) Please wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers, or running shoes. Other shoes are not suitable. Wear casual clothes, preferably pants and a shirt without a collar. You won’t have to change out of these clothes—you'll put your flight suit on over your street clothes. Individuals with long hair should wear it braided and in a low bun. You should remove any items that might flap around or become loose, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, and hair accessories. In addition, you should remove everything from your pockets. We do have lockers for your use, but we recommend that you leave anything valuable at home as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen property.

Q) Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A) Not required, but it will be helpful.

Q) The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

A) Yes, as long as someone from your organization has referred you.
