IFAS/CALS TailGATOR 2026
About this Event
We're putting a new twist on TailGATOR this year -- Friday night, UF/IFAS Horse Teaching Unit, live music! The night before the Gators take on Ole Miss, gather with fellow CALS Gators for a festive pregame celebration.
Hosted by , TailGator brings together the Gator Nation with food, fun, and the chance to reconnect with our agricultural and life sciences community. Enjoy a delicious BBQ meal, family-friendly activities, and plenty of orange-and-blue spirit as we celebrate the college and 250 years of America!

- UF/IFAS Animal Sciences Department | Equine Sciences
- UF/IFAS School of Forest, Fisheries, & Geomatics Sciences | SilvaLab - Forest Biometrics, Remote Sensing and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
- Entomology Club
- Florida Master Gardner Program
- Florida SeaGrant
- and a Game Day Pin Making Station for our youngest (or young at heart) Gator fans!

Info: Hear from IFAS and CALS leaders. Enjoy a buffet meal from Hill's BBQ & Catering, including bone-in chicken, pulled pork, loaded mashed potatoes, home-style green beans, and Hawaiian rolls. A vegetarian/gluten free pasta salad will be provided to those who request it at registration.
