Gail Speckmann says that if you love a flower, it will open up to you. In this exhibit, each painting aims to capture the beauty and spirit of flowers. Though their lifespan as living flowers is fleeting, the artist hopes the painted images extend our time to contemplate and savor each one, almost opening up to them to have a conversation of sorts.
