Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and the City of Clayton invite you to a compelling discussion with two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and poet, nonfiction writer, and librettist Ruby Aiyo Gerber. This mother-daughter duo will explore the social complexities behind their upcoming opera, This House, premiering at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis in May 2025.
Together, they’ll discuss how the facades of homes and families both shield and reveal our inner lives. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Amber Simpson, Senior Learning and Performance Consultant at Edward Jones and Opera Theatre board member.
