About this Event
Participants will learn tools to get started researching the history of Chicago's historic workers cottages in this hands-on workshop. What stories might your cottage tell of past residents and neighbors?
Join us in the community room at the McKinley Park library on April 4th to get started learning more about your house's hidden history. We will focus on workers cottages, but many of the steps covered can be used to research other types of old houses as well.
The workshop is free to attend, though your donation to help support the Chicago Workers Cottage Initiative is greatly appreciated.
Note that Eventbrite only allows by-donation tickets to be reserved one at a time. If you'd to reserve more than one ticket, either register each separately or send us a note at [email protected]
