Fr. Charles Wehrley, C.Ss.RA retreat about regret
This retreat will teach us how to fully grieve losses from past mistakes instead of simply replaying them and remaining stuck in regret. This requires us to re-vision our mistakes by grieving them to the point where we can surrender them into God's hands and allow God to provide the final healing touch we need. People rarely like to grieve, and we don't recognize that we will never be free of the past unless we process it. We have to feel the sense of loss, the guilt, the shame, and the deep sorrow before we can feel a sense of relief and hopefully learn a lesson from our mistakes—a lesson that will prevent us from making the same mistake again.
Fee: Single, $300 including meals and lodging; Commuter, $150 including meals. Pre-registration required.
