The IEEE Southeast University Student Branch WIE Affinity Group is delighted to announce the celebration of IEEE WIE Day 2026, commencing on 5 July 2026 with a series of impactful events designed to empower, inspire, and connect women through leadership, innovation, creativity, and personal development.
This year's theme, "Technology with Purpose: Innovate Responsibly, Inspire Globally, Lead with Integrity," reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where women can thrive, lead, and make meaningful contributions to society through technology and engineering.
🎯 Throughout the IEEE WIE Day 2026 celebration, participants will have the opportunity to engage in:
🥋 Empowered Safety: Self-Defense & Awareness Workshop for Women
In collaboration with Karate Do Spirit, this interactive workshop will equip participants with practical self-defense skills, situational awareness, and confidence-building techniques to promote personal safety and empowerment.
🎤 Women Who Lead – Inspirational Seminar
A platform featuring accomplished women leaders and professionals who will share their experiences, achievements, and insights on leadership, career growth, and overcoming challenges.
🖼️ Poster Presentation Competition
An opportunity for students and young researchers to showcase innovative projects, research findings, and creative ideas through engaging poster presentations.
💡 Idea Competition
A chance to present innovative solutions to real-world problems and demonstrate creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit.
📸 Photography Contest
Capture moments, stories, and perspectives that celebrate empowerment, diversity, innovation, and the spirit of IEEE WIE Day.
