October 7-9; Dubrovnik, Croatia
Our conference theme is "The Person of the Therapist" and our keynote speaker is Helene Amundsen Nissen-Lie, practicing psychotherapist and Clinical Psychology professor at the University of Oslo.
We're pleased to announce that we are offering a $250 discount to IEDTA members! Just make sure your membership is current to obtain your discount code. Membership applications and conference registration can both be found at the conference website: https://www.iedta.net/iedta2026conference
The conference will be held at the Valamar Lacroma Hotel, which is a 45-minute drive from the Dubrovnik airport (accessible by shuttle, taxi, or private transfer). The address is: Ul. Iva Dulčića 34, 20000, Dubrovnik, Croatia. Here's the hotel link: https://www.valamar.com/en/hotels-dubrovnik/valamar-lacroma-dubrovnik-hotel
The hotel has a beautiful view of the Adriatic sea and Elaphiti Islands with beaches nearby, pools, tennis, fitness center, entertainment programming, and bike rental on site to enjoy. There is also a kids club and child care available for families. Details are in the above link.
We have reserved rooms at 3 hotels at a discounted rate for the conference, which are available until September 1st. The discounted rate will also extend for 3 days before and 3 days after the conference, as long as there is availability. This allows a nice extended stay to enjoy this beautiful city and its beaches, for those who wish.
Together, we will be enjoying morning breakfast at the host hotels, morning and afternoon coffee/snack and lunch every day, along with Happy Hour on the evenings of October 7th and 9th. On October 8th, our Gala Dinner will take place, featuring a meal at sunset on the patio with a live DJ and dancing.
Dubrovnik is well connected to major European hubs, with convenient one-stop routes from North America via cities such as Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, and London. We recommend looking for flights soon, while prices are still relatively affordable, before the rates go up.
If you have any questions or issues with your registration, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We can't wait to be together in Dubrovnik soon!
