Join us for this very special one-off screening of BORN AT HOME to celebrate the International Day of the Midwife in association with Home Birth Aotearoa.Cost: $26 (including booking fee).
Please consider using the donate option when buying tickets. Only donations go towards Auckland Home Birth Association, we don't receive any money from the tickets themselves.
We will have home birthy items to buy as well as two raffles:
1. Midwife Prize Box
2. Pregnancy and Baby Prize Box
All midwives who attend the screening will receive a free ticket for the Midwife Prize.
Tickets for the Pregnancy and Baby Box are $5 each or 5 for $20 (max 5 tickets per person) with 100 tickets available to buy.

Featuring insights from midwives, medical professionals and researchers alongside women’s personal birth stories, the film explores the importance of an undisturbed hormonal flow, the benefits of continuity of carer, why the birthing environment matters and ultimately how Homebirth may just be the key to reclaiming this amazing rite of passage.

Babies and children are always welcome at Auckland Home Birth Association run events. ?
We just ask that parents remain mindful of noise and take upset or loud children out until they're settled. Bringing headphones and something to watch on a phone is a great idea for kids who may get bored by the actual film. We will endeavour to provide seating for parents with babies and toddlers near the door so you can make a quick exit if they get upset.
