Get ready for the Idle Hands Show on Saturday, July 11, 2026, presented and hosted by The Lowlife Podcast, at Manchester Harley-Davidson!The Idle Hands Show celebrates custom chopper builds and the builders behind them. All selected bikes will be showcased, with a main competition (A-Side) and a secondary showcase (B-Side) featuring completed, running choppers. A panel of guest judges will narrow the field throughout the build season, leading up to the final showcase and awards LIVE 7/11/26.
This is the payoff after the work is done, and it doesn’t stop there. Expect a carnival takeover with games, food, music, trophies, and nonstop energy all day—then a hardcore show that night to close it out loud.

The Idle Hands Chopper Comp & Show is a grassroots chopper building competition and event culminating in the true spirit of DIY motorcycle culture.
Starting with 150 independent garage builders with a pile of parts, the build off makes three progressive cuts over the course of the year, ultimately narrowing the field to 13 finalist builders. All entrants will debut their completed choppers at the Idle Hands Chopper Show on July 11–12, 2026, hosted at Manchester Harley-Davidson, where the winner will be selected by a panel of heavily credentialed judges, Big Truth of Choppahead, John and Craig of the Eazy Co, and John Moorehead of Long John Chopper Co.
True to the event’s independent roots, all prize money is entirely crowd-funded through donations, raffles, and community support, with a payout of $10,000. Born from the belief that the best motorcycles are still built in garages, the Idle Hands Show exists to spotlight builders from across the country who keep the heart of chopper culture alive- Do it yourself, no rules, no popularity contest, just chopper shit.
