Join us for a unique opportunity to make a difference in the primary immunodeficiency (PI) community, apply by February 22 at https://bit.ly/428bVAo.The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) 2024 IDF Advocacy Day and Young Advocates Academy will be held in person on April 22-23 in Washington, D.C. This event provides an exclusive platform for members of the PI community to travel to the nation's capital to meet with members of Congress and share their stories, influence policy, and make a lasting impact. The Young Advocates Academy will be held the day before Advocacy Day, including additional advocacy training and a special field activity in the nation’s capital. This year, topics that we will address include:
Protecting access to immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy, specifically related to the barrier of Ig therapy administration in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).
Removing insurance barriers to patient access to medications.
Supporting research and access to rare disease treatments.
To make this event accessible for everyone, IDF will reimburse the cost associated with attending the event, including travel to and from D.C., hotel stay, and meals. Due to this, the number of attendees is limited, and IDF employs a highly selective application process to choose participants.
