After an unforgettable Bergen debut with Ideophone in 2024, we're thrilled to welcome her back—this time for her first appearance at Østre.
Joined by Ideophone co-founder Julie Silset, the night unfolds through hypnotic techno, bass-heavy breaks, fast percussive grooves and trippy tribal rhythms, moving effortlessly between deep, meditative moments and peak-time intensity.

HAYA (PS)
A genre-bending DJ with an infectious sense of movement, Haya has built a sound that's impossible to pin down. Hard groove, old-school techno, cheeky dembow and unexpected nostalgic turns collide around bouncy basslines and driving percussion, creating dancefloors that are equal parts playful, sweaty and relentless.
Originally from Haifa, Haya first made her mark through the city's independent Palestinian queer scene, where her sets became a space for self-expression, community and joy. Since then, she's brought that same energy to clubs, festivals and radio stations across Europe, with appearances at KitKatClub, Re:Berlin, Refuge Worldwide, Kiosk Radio, Fitzroy and Kabareet.
We're beyond excited to welcome Haya back to Bergen—and finally experience her on the Østre soundsystem.

JULIE SILSET (NO)
Julie Silset is a Bergen-based DJ, producer and co-founder of Ideophone Records. Playing exclusively on vinyl, her sets move effortlessly between meditative, hypnotic stretches and driving, percussive techno, weaving together dub, leftfield rhythms and deep groove with a meticulous ear for detail. Guided by rhythm, texture and flow, she creates immersive journeys that reward dancers willing to stay with them.

Founded in Bergen in 2017, Ideophone Records is a label and club series dedicated to adventurous electronic music. Through carefully curated bookings, the platform has welcomed artists including LOLSNAKE, Lucy, ENA, Transparent Sound, Nkisi, Polygonia, Nazira, E.T, Anthea, Amina, Poly Chain, Juhani Oivo, Otilia and Haya—always exploring the outer edges of techno, rhythm and experimental club music while creating an open, welcoming dancefloor for everyone.
