Come join us for an evening of intentional release, reflection, and soft unraveling at The Space in Providence, RI.
This month’s Identity Death Café centers on The Stillness — the quiet silence of the space in between.

The Stillness is part of our monthly Identity Death Café series: gatherings for those who feel the old versions of themselves slipping away and want to honor what’s ending, what’s loosening, and what’s ready to fall away.
Together we’ll explore release, grief, spaciousness, and the relief that comes with no longer carrying what isn’t ours.

This in-person gathering offers a gentle, grounded space to explore identity, transition, and the parts of ourselves we’re ready to set down.
Whether you’re moving through a season of change, stepping out of an old role, or simply feeling the weight of what you’ve outgrown , you’re welcome here.

This event is especially welcoming to neurodivergent, queer, trans, and BIPOC community members, and to anyone in the midst of transition, shedding, or personal evolution. You’re invited to come exactly as you are: speak, listen, write, or simply exist quietly in the room. There is no expectation to share.

• A softly lit, sensory-considerate space with drinks, tea, light snacks, and flexible seating (chairs, cushions, corners for solitude).
• A short grounding practice to open our time together.
• Optional opportunities for symbolic release — writing, tearing, burning bowls, art, or silent intention-setting.
• Gentle structure and predictable pacing designed with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind.
• Spaciousness to move, stim, rest, or step out as needed.
• No cost to attend. This is a free community offering.

The Space is located on the 2nd floor at 171 Chestnut St, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02903.
Unfortunately, the building does not currently have an elevator.
