15:00 Official Opening and Film Screening with Panel Discussion
Official Opening with the world-premiere of a documentary following INTERPOL's campaign to identify victims of femicide, followed by an expert panel on "Femi(ni)cide: Policy Solutions for Transnational Gender-Based Violence".
Join us for the screening of Identify Me, 40-minute documentary from France’s acclaimed Envoyé Spécial that highlights INTERPOL’s campaign on 47 cold cases of unidentified women found across Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain—many believed to have been murdered. Through the voices of investigators, forensic experts, and families, the film reveals the urgent need to identify victims, bring closure to their loved ones, and raise awareness of femicide and violence against women.
