She serves as the director for all 3 CalmOCD locations: Scottsdale, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, and Sandy, Utah. Sara brings experience treating a variety of mental health conditions in a university setting, private practices, and in-home services to children, teens, and adults. She had the opportunity to initially specialize in the treatment of eating disorders in college athletes and centered in dissertation in young adult women with eating disorders and their relationships with their fathers. Dr. Sara created CalmOCD in September of 2021, due to the high volume of individuals suffering from debilitating OCD and in need of services, she was confident her team could make an impact in the OCD community. Creating a team that provides quality services has been life changing. Dr. Sara feels everyone has the right to receive exceptional care in a non-judgmental and compassionate setting. She brings a relational approach offering warmth, passion, and positivity. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, going thrift/antique shopping, traveling, and heading to her home state of Kansas to visit family.

Bethany Bosier, MS, LPC, LISAC, LCDC, RPT, CCTP is a therapist for CalmOCD in the Scottsdale, Arizona location and provides telehealth to residents in Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. She specializes in treating children, teens and adults with eating disorders, OCD, and additional co-occurring conditions. She received her master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas and specialized in working with children and adolescents. Bethany brings seven years of post-graduate experience treating various mental health disorders in residential, intensive outpatient, school, in-home, and private practice settings. Bethany has extensive experience working with children and families as a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist. She utilizes Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and family systems to work with children and families to promote an understanding and healing environment for the entire family system. Bethany is a LIAC in Arizona and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas and recognizes the need to focus on co-occurring treatment of substance use and other mental health disorders simultaneously. Bethany is trained in providing EMDR Therapy and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Bethany brings authenticity, honesty, warmth, and humor to her therapeutic approach. Bethany grew up in Northwest Houston and moved to Arizona in 2022 with her husband and three cats. Outside of work, she can be found exploring the local area to find new little gems to love about Arizona.
