Monday
🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The Blueprint Room — Tech Strategy Session
Info: Every empire starts with a plan. This is where yours starts.
Vendors who feel behind on technology have been working without a blueprint. The Blueprint Room changes that — giving every participant a mapped, prioritized digital plan ready to execute today. Google Business Profile. AI-assisted content. Booking systems. Customer follow-up. Built before the hustle begins.
65% of small businesses feel good about AI. Most have done nothing. This session fixes that. You arrive with your phone. You leave with a completed action and a real plan.
Not information. A plan.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
ETA (Entrepreneurship Through Aquistion)
Info: You do not always have to start from scratch.
Across Birmingham, small business owners are retiring with no succession plan. Decades of cash flow. No one to take the keys. Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition turns that gap into your opportunity.
Buy a profitable business. Inherit its customers, revenue, and reputation on day one. Skip the startup failure rate.
SBA loans, seller financing, and search funds have made acquisition more accessible than ever. This session covers how to find the right business, read the books, structure the deal, and access financing available right now.
Open to vendors ready to scale, employees ready to own, and anyone looking for a different path in.
🕑: 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
VIP Session: Plug In or Fall Behind — Tech Audit Mini Masterclass
Info: Your digital readiness check. Live, honest, actionable.
Five systems determine whether your business is visible, competitive, and converting. This session audits all five — live, with your actual profiles open in the room.
Google Business Profile. Social media consistency. Booking and ordering access. Invoicing and payments. Customer follow-up automation.
Every gap gets a specific, free or low-cost fix. Not a lecture about someday. A room where you do it tonight.
Limited to 15–20 seats so every participant gets direct feedback on their own presence.
Tuesday
🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The Vault — Creative Capital Showcase
Info: Meet the funders who can change everything.
The Vault brings together four of Birmingham’s most active funding partners in one room: Malone
Unlimited, HICA, OakBridge Capital, and JP Morgan Chase. Every vendor in the room leaves knowing
exactly which partner to call first. Each funder presents their focus, eligibility, and application process.
Vendors ask direct, specific questions about access, readiness, and next steps.
This is not a pitch competition. This is an introduction. The Vault removes the mystery from capital
access. It shows vendors exactly who is funding in Birmingham, what they are looking for, and what a
vendor needs to have ready before they walk through the door. The Ideas to Impact funding framework,
from Supporting at $5,000 to Founding at $50,000 plus, maps directly to the partners in this room.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Build Your Table — How To Hire Session
Info: How to hire, who to hire, when to hire, and how to keep them.
Most vendors make their first hire out of desperation, not intention. Build Your Table changes that.
This session covers the full hiring lifecycle — when to hire versus contract, how to write the job description, how to structure pay and expectations, how to build a culture people stay in, and how to let someone go with integrity.
Alabama's small businesses employ nearly half the state's workforce. The vendors in this room are not small. They are the economy. This panel gives them the tools to grow it right.
🕑: 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
VIP Session: Lead From the Inside — Organizational Leadership
Info: Build yourself before you build your table.
You cannot hire, lead, or retain people you are not ready to lead. Lead From the Inside is the
organizational leadership assessment masterclass that starts where every leadership conversation
should start. With you. Participants complete a personal leadership assessment examining their
communication style, their relationship to authority and accountability, their decision making patterns
under pressure, and the one leadership habit in their business that is either multiplying their impact or
quietly undermining it.
The research is consistent. Founder leadership quality is one of the top predictors of team retention,
operational health, and business sustainability. Yet most vendor business programs skip this entirely.
This session does not. Every participant completes the assessment, receives a structured debrief, and
identifies a specific 30 day leadership.
Wednesday
🕑: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Say It Loud — General Storytelling Session
Info: Because Birmingham lifts its own.
Trust is the marketing. Say It Loud turns that principle into a strategy — bringing together brand storytelling, PR, and visual presence into one conversation about how vendors build a narrative that creates press, builds loyalty, and turns customers into advocates.
Donald Miller's StoryBrand framework says it plainly: the customer is the hero, not you. Lead with the person your business transforms. Batter & Bloom does it. This session teaches every vendor to do the same.
Birmingham's community papers, local blogs, and word-of-mouth networks are not small plays. They are your foundation. This panel covers how to earn coverage, pitch local media, run PR without a budget, and keep your name in the community's mouth even when you are not in the room.
🕑: 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
VIP Session: The Frame — Personal Brand & Image
Info: What your presence says before you speak.
Your booth, your packaging, your grid, your outfit. All of it communicates before you say a word. The Frame makes every visual element intentional.
From personal styling to social media strategy to brand consistency, this VIP workshop shows you exactly what your visual brand is saying right now — and how to make it say what you mean.
Research confirms it: people trust businesses whose visual presence signals professionalism and authenticity. The Ideas to Impact curriculum teaches brand consistency from day one — logo, colors, packaging, and voice all saying the same thing.
Limited to 15–20 seats. Every participant gets a personal brand audit live in the session.
Thursday
🕑: 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM
The Next Table — Youth & Entrepreneurship BCS Panel Sessions
Info: Business owners meeting the next generation. One academy at a time.
The Next Table brings Birmingham City Schools academy students face to face with Birmingham
business owners working in fields that align with their academy focus. One panel per academy. Each
panel is a live conversation, not a lecture. It shows students exactly what the career and
entrepreneurship path looks like in their specific field. For the business owners in the room, this is
ecosystem building at its most important. Planting the next generation of vendors, employees, and
collaborators.
Programming team confirms which BCS academies are participating and identifies the matching
Birmingham business owners for each panel. Each panel includes at least one business owner who
started from a position similar to the students in the room. Proximity and relatability are the most
powerful tools in this setting.
Friday
🕑: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
The Table We Built — Food, Culture & Innovation Focus Group
Info: Food, culture, innovation, and the future of who feeds Birmingham.
The Table We Built is not a typical panel. It is a structured conversation between six voices exploring where Birmingham's food vendor ecosystem is headed — and what it takes to scale without losing the thing that made it special.
Four dimensions. Scaling. The future. Food and culture. Innovation.
What does it mean to feed your own community? What is changing in how food is produced, distributed, and valued? Where is food entrepreneurship in Birmingham in five years?
What is said in this room shapes what gets built next.
🕑: 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Batter & Bloom Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Info: The Marketplace is officially open for business.
The ribbon cuts. The Marketplace opens. What was built this week, every blueprint, every hire plan,
every funding conversation, every story, every academy panel, every food vendor focus group, becomes
permanent. This ceremony honors every vendor who showed up, every speaker who invested their
knowledge, and every partner who helped build the ecosystem. Birmingham made this necessary. Every
vendor in this room made it real.
Batter & Bloom’s documented outcomes (25 businesses supported per cycle, 30 percent average
revenue growth, 50 jobs created, over 1,000 community meals distributed) did not happen because
vendors attended a conference. They happened because vendors left and did something specific. The
ribbon is not the end. It is the start.
