About this Event
In today's fast-paced, high-pressure world, one skill separates thriving leaders and organizations from the rest: emotional regulation. In this transformative keynote, Dr. Marc Brackett, author of Permission to Feel and Dealing with Feeling and founding director of the Yale Center of Emotional Intelligence, reveals the science and practice behind regulating emotions with intention.
Drawing on decades of research, Dr. Brackett introduces a breakthrough approach to self-regulation and co-regulation, skills proven to reduce burnout, increase productivity, improve decision-making, and build high-trust cultures. Participants will walk away with practical evidence-based strategies to navigate difficult conversations, lead under pressure, and foster environments where people feel safe, empowered, and motivated to perform at their best and thrive, together.
Ideas to Contemplate is a CSC speaker series that explores areas where contemplation fuels innovation, courage, and cultural change. The series brings together surprising, provocative thinkers and creators whose work invites audiences to reflect and reimagine what is possible personally, socially, and institutionally. We are grateful our generous donors who make this series possible.
