Ideas Into Action

Hosted by: Latinx Education Collaborative & Chicano Center for the Arts

Our community already holds the answers, but too often, those solutions are ignored, underfunded, or dismissed. This gathering is about taking the ideas you bring and turning them into actionable steps, real partnerships, and lasting change.

We’re not here to collect ideas and let them sit on paper. We will work with you to make your solutions real. Together, we will:

• Transform community-driven ideas into concrete action plans.
• Connect solutions directly with resources, decision-makers, and partners who can help bring them to life.
• Build a living agenda that reflects our needs and demands — and keep pushing it forward.

Bring the solutions you’ve been carrying — the ones no one has listened to or supported — around issues like:

• Homelessness & Housing: community-led housing models, affordable housing pathways, renter protections, transitional housing solutions.
• Mental Health: culturally rooted healing practices, bilingual providers, community wellness spaces, trauma-informed programs.
• Youth Opportunities: mentorship pipelines, creative spaces, education access, safe afterschool programs.
• Economic Justice: support for small businesses, financial literacy, job creation, equitable contracting.
• Public Safety & Justice: alternatives to policing, restorative justice programs, community-led violence prevention.
• Healthcare Access: affordable care, mobile clinics, services for undocumented families, maternal health equity.

This is not a panel. This is not another listening session.

This is a working space for solutions, resources, and results.
