About this Event
Ideas for Freedom, 2022 is a weekend of socialist debate and discussion.
The world's political life is dominated by governments pledged to keep the wealthy comfortable and the working class in its place.
Across the globe the populist right is thriving: Modi, Erdogan, Bolsonaro and others have been the beneficiaries of a worldwide realignment of politics following the 2008 economic crash.
Putin's Russian army is fighting a barbaric war in Ukraine. Xi oppressed the Uyghurs in China.
For very many life is often difficult and miserable. And unnecessarily so.
Workers' Liberty exists to fight for a different world, one based on human solidarity and democratic, collective working-class control over economics and politics.
We organise Ideas for Freedom each year as a forum where activists can discuss, think and listen to ideas that could transform the world.

Early Bird weekend tickets until Friday 8 April are just £25 waged, £12 low waged/student and £5 unwaged. From 9 April to 6 May ticket prices are £30/£17/£7.
