Ida: The Musical - Staged Reading

Step into the Minneapolis red light district and the lavish parlour of Ida Dorsey. Fleeing the reconstructionist South, Ida escaped to Minneapolis with her brother Nebraska and sister Birdie for a shot at a better life. But when she comes face to face with the same systems of power called by a new name, how far will Ida go to protect who and what she loves and at what cost?

Doors open at 7 pm. The presentation begins at 7:30 pm with a post-show discussion directly afterward. Chat with the creators and learn about the Mill City red light district from historian and author Penny Petersen. Day Block beverages will be available for purchase.
