Vilbjørg Broch is a Danish composer, performer, and media artist. Mathematics, algorithmic thinking, and programming are central to her artistic practice. She composes electronic music in which form, sound synthesis, and spatialization are generated from data derived from hyperdimensional ob-jects. In July 2024, Broch was an Artist in Residence at the ICST Residency Program “Spatial Audio Synthesis.” During the ICST Artist Talk, she provides insights into her artistic practice and aesthetics.
