ICIUS 2023 -19th International Conference on Intelligent Unmanned Systems

The International Conference on Intelligent Unmanned Systems (ICIUS) is a series of annual international conferences in which the International Society on Intelligent Unmanned Systems (ISIUS) is the primary organiser. This year, the conference is co-organised by the Robotics and Automation Research Group, the University of Adelaide. This series of conferences have been successfully run in many countries, and in 2023 it will be held for the first time in Australia.

The aim of the conference is to stimulate interactions among researchers active in the areas pertinent to intelligent unmanned systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the field of unmanned and intelligent systems for ground, underwater, aerial and space applications. This year we also extend the scope to include off-earth exploration, construction and mining as well as Internet of Things and Virtual Reality.

The conference offers a unique and interesting platform for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present and share their most recent research and innovative ideas in the areas of unmanned systems, robotics, automation, and intelligent systems. This is the premier global event combining academic excellence with industrial representations within the conference, augmented by exhibitions and workshops planned to be held around the conference program. At this conference, researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners from all over the world congregate to exchange knowledge and expertise in the development and innovative applications of all types of unmanned systems, payload and accompanying systems.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer. Any contributed or invited paper can be nominated for the ICIUS 2023 Best Conference Paper Award and the ICIUS 2023 Best Student Paper Award. The final evaluation by the awards committee will take into account the presentations at ICIUS 2023.
