Emiliano Catan (Co-Director, Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance) will moderate a panel of participants including A. Gilchrist Sparks (formerly of Morris, Nichols Arsht & Tunnel LLP), who represented Revlon; David McBride (Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor LLP) and Stuart Shapiro (Forman & Shapiro), who represented MacAndrews & Forbes; and Stephen Fraidin (Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP), who represented Forstmann & Little in the transaction. Our goal is not only to cover the central ways in which Revlon changed the doctrinal landscape, but to go beyond the legal doctrines and dive into the rich narrative behind the litigation -- sharing the untold stories, the strategic decisions, and the unexpected twists that shaped the case and its ultimate resolution.
