Iceland Noir :: Bolide Photography Show

Join us for the opening party for Iceland Noir. This show is sponsored by Shop Made Foundation and the ARTCELERATE program. The artist will be in residency with Shop Made in DC through the end of September.

ABOUT THE SHOW

A BOLIDE is a large, brilliant meteor that may explode in the atmosphere and leave a short lived light trail. Bolide Photo specializes in capturing photographs in infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye. This is achieved with the use of dedicated Infrared converted cameras.

Steven Cheadle owns Bolide Photo and travels across the US and abroad to capture moody and cinematic photos.It is important to his practice that shots are never staged, or composited - every scene shows exactly as witnessed in person, and photographs receive minimal post processing.His most recent trip was to the southern coast of Iceland in July 2024, where he captured the series titled Iceland Noir.
