YAKIMA! Join us Saturday, October 10th, as we stand together to tell ICE: "STOP attacking our community!" "STOP attacking our families!" "ICE OUT OF YAKIMA!"
Yakima has seen a significant increase in ICE enforcement, with 522 ICE arrests recorded through July 2026, followed by continued arrests throughout August and a reported surge in September.
Available data indicate that the majority of Washington’s ICE arrests involved people with no criminal record, raising serious questions about the impact these operations are having on families and our broader community.
Yakima residents have a right to demand transparency. We have a right to demand that our courthouses and public institutions remain accessible and safe for everyone. And we have a right to say that our community does not want to live in fear of kidnappings by masked federal agents.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 • 3 PM
40TH AVE. & FRUITVALE BLVD.
We will gather at the southeast corner of 40th Ave. and Fruitvale Blvd. to stand in solidarity with people being held in detention and to make our opposition to ICE heard as the GEO transport bus leaves the Yakima ICE field office.
Bring your signs. Bring your voices. Bring your friends.
Let's get loud.
